If you learn to smile, you know what it means to be free " Marta Pratone Not for sure if she is the author of the phrase, but I love it because it talks about the smile, freedom, how beautiful and happy life is when we smile. For me art is the smile that teaches me to be free. I also liked it because it talks about the look and its light, and touch ... this requires that the other. We are not alone. Life is shared. For me art is the manifestation of that inner world which is formed by what we are and what we absorb from what surrounds us during our lives, and need to communicate, share and express, ideas that are (partly) perceived of "reality" and returned to it through art, and ideas that "someone" was to express and that everyone should know. And it is the artist who has the sensitive spirit to perceive these new ideas and ways of thinking, and also who has the courage to transmit. My background is primarily self-taught and "experimental" ... say ... haha! The first knowledge I had I were entertained by a great aunt, who is a great artist. Then, at the entrance to the fashion design career, I saw other technical drawing. That race gave it up, now I'm a degree in art history. with plastic orientation. I work mostly on the artistic expression (visual arts and performance) of Laughter Therapy and the spiritual path.
